As a wedding planner, there are few moments more rewarding than seeing your clients’ love story and big day recognised on a larger stage. Every detail, from their order of service for their religious ceremony to the Persian sofreh aghd at the reception, was designed to create a day that reflected not only their love for each other but also their personalities and shared values. One of the most memorable parts of the planning process was seeing the couple’s passion for creating a celebration that felt intimate yet elegant. Mel’s mother prepared a Persian feast for both families before the wedding, and on the big day itself, the joy in the air was palpable as they performed their first dance to Nina Simone’s I Put a Spell on You, transitioning seamlessly into a lively Persian song.
